Refund policy
Last updated 2026-11-05 · Operated by Kyle Haze, Toronto, Ontario, Canada · [email protected]
Short version: if the event is cancelled, you get all your money back automatically. Otherwise the organizer decides, and we make it easy for them to say yes.
Cancelled events
When an organizer cancels an event on TicketSell, every paid order is refunded in full to the card used at checkout, without you asking. You get an email when it happens. Refunds usually appear on your statement within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank.
Changed events
If the date, time or venue changes materially, ask the organizer for a refund; organizers are expected to refund buyers who cannot attend the new date. Contact the organizer through the email on the event page.
You changed your mind
Tickets are not automatically refundable if you can no longer attend. Many organizers will refund anyway, especially if you ask early; the organizer can refund any order with one click from their manage page. Ask them first. If the organizer does not respond within five business days, email [email protected] and we will help.
Wrong tickets or technical problems
If you were charged but did not receive tickets, use Find my tickets first (it re-sends every order for your email). If that does not solve it, contact us; a charge without a ticket is always refunded.
How refunds work
Refunds go back to the original card for the full amount you paid, including TicketSell's fee. Refunded tickets stop working at the door immediately.
