Privacy policy

Last updated 2026-11-05 · Operated by Kyle Haze, Toronto, Ontario, Canada · [email protected]

We collect the minimum needed to sell a ticket and let you in the door, and we do not sell or rent it.

What we collect

  • Buyers: your name and email (to issue and re-send tickets), what you bought, and the time of the order. Card details go directly to Stripe and never touch our servers; we store only Stripe's reference numbers.
  • Organizers: your email (your sign-in), the name you show on events, your event details and your Stripe account reference. Identity and bank details for payouts are collected by Stripe under Stripe's privacy policy.
  • Everyone: the server logs needed to run the site and stop abuse (IP address, time, pages requested), kept briefly. A bot check from Cloudflare Turnstile may run on forms.

How we use it

To process orders, email tickets, sign-in links and refund notices, let organizers see who bought tickets to their own event and check them in, prevent fraud and card testing, and answer your questions. Organizers see the names and emails of their own buyers only, and agree not to use them for marketing without your separate consent. We send no marketing email.

Who else sees it

Stripe (payments, in Canada and the United States), Resend (email delivery, United States) and Cloudflare (hosting, database and bot protection, worldwide network). Your information may therefore be stored or processed outside Canada, where it is subject to local law. We share information with authorities only when the law requires it.

Cookies

Buyers get no cookies. Organizers get one sign-in cookie when they log in; it holds a random session id and nothing else. We use no advertising or tracking cookies.

Keeping and deleting it

Order records are kept for as long as needed for refunds, disputes and tax records (generally seven years). To see, correct or delete your personal information, or to withdraw consent, email [email protected]; we answer within 30 days. Security incidents involving personal information are recorded and, where there is a real risk of significant harm, reported to the Privacy Commissioner of Canada and to the people affected.

Who is responsible

Kyle Haze, Toronto, Ontario, Canada, is the person accountable for personal information under PIPEDA and acts as privacy officer. Complaints can also be made to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
